Survey 3 - "Do you use your work telephone for personal calls?"
During the month of November we have been conducting an opinion poll to investigate whether employees use their work telephone for personal calls when they
really shouldn't be! And, the results have shown, again, like last month, no suprises! 65% of the responses answered 'YES' when only 35% said 'NO' - (although a slightly more positive result to last month!)
It is
only natural that we will need to speak with friends and family throughout the day or call a plumber or electrician to sort personal problems at home. It
may be interesting to know if this 65% of people are just using the work telephone for these one-off calls or if they are constantly taking advantage of
being able to use the telephone that they are not paying for! Lets hope you are just using it on a one-off basis - and you really are getting on with your
work!! Next month we will be finding out whether you use your business email for personal correspondance! Will these responses be consistent with our
current findings or will it show us that employees don't really take advantage at the workplace!
