Survey 61 - "60% of employees are stressed about the recent smoking ban"
A recent survey conducted by TipTopJob has found that 60% of employees are stressed about the recent ban. But why?
Non-smokers are actually relieved and over the moon about the recent ban and love the fact that they do not get smelly clothes, their offices are 100% smoke-free and their friends are slowly but surely giving up the habit.
So, unless it is the odd few individuals who are still on the receiving end of the wafts of smoke that enter the office through the open doors and windows, it has to be the remaining smokers that are finding it difficult. Maybe smokers are feeing the pressure to quit and those who are attempting to stop are finding it hard. Or maybe because they have no smoking room to fill up with smoke and they have to take a hike down the 5 storeys to get a quick fix they are feeling more stressed. Finally, smokers in general are upset about the fact that they feel their human rights have been taken away from them – if they want to smoke then they should be allowed. What about all of the other people who are being affected by your smoking habits we cry?
