Job Description :
Required for innovative company based in central London who produce multimedia and audio tours for museums, galleries, historic sites and the retail industry.
Principle work involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing and programming electronic hand-held multimedia guides, audio guides and ancillary equipment. Ideal candidate must be well organised, deadline sensitive and be flexible. A keen interest in hands-on electronics with knowledge of both digital and analogue using the latest techniques is essential.
Previous experience in faultfinding and repair down to component level is desirable although not essential and the successful candidate will be given full training and work under the guidance of experienced technical staff.
Team player skills helpful, with easy manner, as job will include supporting the operations department, field managers and clients. Involves on-site client work. Clean and smart appearance essential.
Recognised qualification in Electronic Engineering is essential. Salary range: 21,000 to 24,000 depending on experience.
